   Great business opportunity!

        Your own hours (Flex hours)

           Selling and/or installing our rails

                Call for details 800-598-9108

NEW for 2009:

1. Local sources for Polypropylene panels

2. Slide rail kits.

What makes the above two special? People who find plywood protection acceptable because of pricing, availability  and its do-your-self ability  but do not like the many negatives of plywood - we have an answer. And it too is inexpensive.

Polypropylene paneling has been arable for some time but its big problem was and is still - cost of shipping. Problem solved (a,b,c)

a. We have access to local sources for Polypropylene sheet goods, that will work with our hardware and or rail kits, in your area or very close by. (call us for details)

b. Our patented rail kits up to 8ft. long can ship by UPS.

c. Our hardware will ship via the US post office  anywhere in the USA in their US postal flat rate box system. Up to 60# for one rate.

Net results - For at or a slightly higher cost than plywood protection that exceeds that of plywood. And it, wont warp, lets light pass through, is light weight and stores better.

If that is to expensive ask us about our "slatting" program. The slatting kit shown above is for windows up to 4' high. We also offer slatting rails in 8' lengths in Black & white.

SLATTING with StormCovers™ patented rails.

This is a system that could cost a little more or even less than plywood - offering greater wind, rain and impact protection than plywood. Also it stores easier, is lighter, won’t warp & lets light in.

How it works:
The Big H design (as you look at from the end) allows the installer options. As an “H” configuration one can install two sheets of material  to cover larger areas.

By cutting off one of the 4 wings one ends up with an “h” configuration. One then utilizes the “u” portion of the “h” by sliding the 16mm material into the :u”. ( A Slide Rail or  Drop n Lock) The remaining portion of the “h” is then fixed to the dwelling with fasteners. A self-locking setscrew is then inserted to secure 16mm material - making it ready for storms.

The area around the window set determines the type of fastener. E.g. siding requires one type of fastener, block another type, stucco another shutters another type of fastener. ( It’s best to discuss this with us)

Cutting off two wings will then make it  look like a “u” this can  be used as an end cap for inclosing exposed flutes if desired.

Our PVC Slide Rail comes in black but it may be covered with a bonding agent made by Krylon called Fusion. Wal-mart carries it.  It applies easier than spray paint, requiring less surface preparation,  and is available in many colors.
