The above customer installed 10 mm Poly Pro with our slide rails that stay on their home all year. Because they over look a large lake and are subject to higher than normal wind conditions partial fixed side rails were installed. The side rails are permanently attached to the side of their panels when in place or in storage. Side rails and a "H" (turned to the side) rail was used to cover the double doors .

This customer has installed our “drop n Lock” rail system on a second story window. This allows him to be able to insert his panels from inside at storm time and remove them after the storm. No need for ladders. His rails will stay on the building.

This application shows 10mm Poly Pro installed with our rivnuts into window frames, SS combo screws and our "slide n lock" rails. On the sides rivnuts and combo screws secure panels in place. (Great for Bay Windows too.)

The above Condo had very a special requirements like:

1. No fasteners of any kind could be installed in the stucco.
2. Panels must all look the same.
3. Second floor panels had to be able to install and remove them from the inside. No Ladders.
4. Second floor window screens had to be able to be removed and reinstalled from inside.
5. Must be simple enough for operation by ”Seniors” in their 60’s 70’s and 80’s

First floor they used our Drop n Lock and rivnuts. Second floor they used our, new for 2008, Side Slide n Lock with rivnuts. In order to see one in operation please e-mail a request to info@stormcovers.com and we will e-mail you a short movie.
