1. Materials Needed:
- Standard sewing machine
- No. 14 sewing needles
- White thread, 100% 3-Ply Polyester available
in many stores - e.g. white (color 400) #5244188 from
Wal-Mart or
www.walmart.com
2. Directions for sewing
StormCovers:
- Measure from center of your grommet placement to center of the
opposite side grommet placement and add 3 inches.
- Measure top center of grommet placement to center of the bottom
grommet placement and add 3 inches.
- Square your fabric to the size needed to cover window
from the measurements in A & B
Measure in 2 inches on the wrong side of fabric on all sides and
mark with a line all around.

Fold one long side in to the line you marked. This gives you a
one-inch hem. Blue clips show hem folded. Start sewing at the top line and end at the bottom
line close to the edge of the hem.

- Repeat for the opposite side.

- Cut out a rectangle on each corner leaving 1/4 inch above your side
seam and 1/4 inch at the fold.

- Fold down top to line. Sew at edge of hem.

- Repeat for the bottom side.

Turn over to the right side and stitch 1/16 inch from the folded
edge. (See Picture 8, Click Here)
- Mark for your grommets, and install the grommets. We recommend
at around 12 inches in high wind areas.
